Viale Regina Margherita, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Labicana. On these roads, the video cameras for controlling access to fast track lanes have been in operation since 1 November. Fines are automatic in the event of unauthorised vehicles using these lanes. The activation of these cameras is part of a major project implemented by Roma Servizi per la Mobilità for the installation of 21 video cameras.
From 1 November, cameras will be in operation on Viale Regina Margherita, at the junction with via Nizza towards the Salaria and Via Adda towards the Nomentana; on Corso Vittorio Emanuele at the junction with via Filippini towards Lungotevere and via Cerri towards Torre Argentina; and on the fast track lane on Via Labicana, at the junction with via dei Normanni towards Manzoni and via Verri, again towards Manzoni.
Video cameras are already in operation on another ten fast track lanes on ten roads to protect public transport. These video cameras are on Via Nazionale, Via dell’Amba Aradam, Via Nomentana, Via Ostiense, Via Aurelia, Via del Tritone, Via di Santa Maria in Cosmedin, circonvallazione Cornelia, Via Catania and Via di Portonaccio.
