Bans and closures in the city centre over the weekend : Not only “La Nuvola”

The summit planned on Saturday and Sunday will be preceded on Friday, by a summit of the Ministers of Finance and Health, also hosted at Eur, in the Salone delle Fontanedi via Ciro Il Grande. From tomorrow onwards, parking bans in the area are expected. At the Parioli, from this evening, parking and stopping bans will affect viale Rossini and via Aldrovandi, via Bertoloni, via Mercadante, via Pinciana and via Paisiello. Still at Parioli, from 10.00 a.m. tomorrow closure of the bike lane along Viale Rossini, between Via Bertoloni and Via Ulisse Aldrovandi. In the Vatican area , tomorrow and Friday parking bans and possible closures in correspondence with the Auditorium on Via della Conciliazione. Friday parking bans and possible closures still in the area of Palazzo Chigi and the Quirinale. On Saturday, similar measures will affect the area of Piazza della Repubblica, Via Cernaia, Via Volturno, Via delle Terme di Diocleziano, Piazza dei Cinquecento and the Quirinale. On Sunday, the area between Piazza Barberini, Via del Tritone, Via del Corso and all the roads leading to the Trevi Fountain will be banned. Parking bans will be in effect several hours before the events. The Questura (Police Headquarters) has also requested the closure of the Repubblica, Colosseo and Circo Massimo metro stations and the access to the Termini metro station, which is located in the centre of Piazza dei Cinquecento, from 1.00 p.m. on Saturday until restrictions are no longer needed. The other accesses remain open. The pedestrian accesses to Termini from Piazza dei Cinquecento will still be closed at 1.00 p.m. on Saturday. The entrances to and from Via Marsala and Via Giolitti will remain open. Also on Saturday, from 3.00 p.m., a procession of the Fridays For Future movement and the Cobas from Piramide to Piazza Bocca della Verità will occur.
