On Sunday, (and not Saturday, as incorrectly written previously) from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm, about 2,000 people will demonstrate in Piazza Bocca della Verità (and no longer at the Circus Maximus as initially planned) for "popular appeasement".
Parking bans will be activated, several hours beforehand, on: Bocca di Verità square, via Petroselli, via di Ponte Rotto and largo Amerigo Petrucci; via dei Cerchi, between Bocca della Verità square and via Ara Massima di Ercole; via della Greca; via del Circo Massimo, between piazzale Ugo La Malfa and via della Greca.
In case there is closure of Via dei Cerchi, Via del Circo Massimo, Via Santa Maria in Cosmedin and Via Petroselli, the bus lines C3, 30, 44, 51, 75, 81, 83, 85, 87, 118, 160, 170, 628, 715, 716 and 781 may be diverted or subject to short stops.
The changes may continue beyond 8.00 p.m., because from 4.00 to 10.00 p.m. via dell'Ara Massima di Ercole will be closed to traffic filming by the Opera House.
