Nomentana pruning, new phase from Monday. Changes to the road system

Work moves between Viale Regina Margherita and Corso Trieste. Interventions and traffic closures from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The first phase of pruning finished on Via Nomentana, in the section Porta Pia-Regina Margherita. From next Monday, January 30, the second phase will begin (weather conditions permitting) between Viale Regina Margherita and Corso Trieste/via Spallanzani, again from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

There will be parking bans on the lanes between viale Regina Margherita and corso Trieste; on via Spallanzani, from via Nomentana in the direction of piazza Salerno; on via Redi, where a two-way traffic system will also be in effect between via Eustachio and via Nomentana; on via Celso; and on corso Trieste between via Nomentana and piazza Trento, in both directions.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., on pruning days, traffic will be prohibited on the section affected by pruning on Via Nomentana between Viale Regina Margherita and Corso Trieste. Transit will also be prohibited on the roadway in the Ignazio Guidi underpass that enters via Nomentana. During pruning hours, to relieve traffic congestion, temporary suspension of the fast lane on Via Nizza, only in the uphill section toward Piazza Fiume.

Bus lines 60, 62, 66, 82 and 90 will be diverted. Downtown bound traffic from Via Nomentana will continue to Corso Trieste, Piazza Trento, Via Postumia, Piazza Dalmazia, Via Dalmazia, Viale Regina Margherita, Via Nomentana. On the return trip, from Via Nomentana, the detour will be to Viale Regina Margherita (out of reserved lane), Via Dalmazia, Piazza Dalmazia, Via Postumia, Piazza Trento, Corso Trieste, Via Nomentana. With the route changes , stops 71572-71553 -71503 will be deactivated.
