CITEAIR II (Common Information on European Air)
 
The project CITEAIR II gave continuity to the work done with CITEAIR I, focusing on a better exchange with regard to air quality management and its synergies with climate change mitigation, as well as a better comparison between cities and better information to the public about air quality in their cities.

CITYMOBIL
 
CityMobil, completed in December 2011, was an important R&D demo project on the integration of automated transport systems in urban areas, based on actual implementations of the automated transport system of 3 areas. The total budget was over 40 million euro.

CIVITAS CATALIST
 
The CIVITAS initiative (City-Vitality-Sostenibility) was launched in 2002. Its basic purpose is to support cities in introducing ambitious transportation measures and policies of sustainable urban mobility, with the aim of achieving a significant change in the allotment of means towards sustainable transportation, an achievable goal through the promotion of innovative policy-based technologies and strategies.
 
CIVITAS CATALIST was a project of the CIVITAS initiative which began in 2007 and ended in 2012 with the aim of validating and following up on the best initiatives of sustainable mobility developed in 2002-2006 as part of CIVITAS 1 (which was attended by 19 European cities). 
 
During the period 2002-2006, at the beginning of the initiative, the Agency (then ATAC) and the Mobility Department of Roma Capitale coordinated the CIVITAS MIRACLES project. 
 
Roma, in particular, was the ambassador of CIVITAS initiative in Europe on the "Access Control and Urban Pricing" subject.
 
CIVITAS is currently in its third phase; thanks to the initiative, the European Commission invested approximately 300 million euro, co-funding activities on sustainable mobility in 60 cities.
 
Thanks to CIVITAS CATALIST, it has been possible to increase the network of European cities belonging to the CIVITAS Forum and engaged in sustainable mobility initiatives. CATALIST has collected in his consortium the cities representative of the best examples in the field of Access Control (Rome), goods distribution (Gothenburg), Telematics and Transport (Toulouse), Collective Transport (Nantes), low polluting vehicles (Stockholm), "soft" measures (Graz).

CONDUITS
 
Project CONDUITS had as its objective the development of performance indicators to assist European administrations in the choice of ITS technologies for mobility through the exchange of "best practices" among large cities (Rome, Paris, Barcelona, ​​Tel Aviv, Istanbul).

EGNOS2ROAD (E2R)
 
E2R was an evaluation study of the "Egnos" satellite signal for applications for road transport, in which Roma Servizi per la Mobilità participated to demonstrate the LPT signal in urban areas. The study was commissioned directly with a tender by the European Commission.
 
 
e-SUM 
 
e-SUM has been a collaborative project between the authorities and the local industry of the main European cities to identify, develop and demonstrate measures to increase security of the two-wheeled vehicles in urban areas in the short, medium and long term.

STADIUM
 
Stadium is a project for the study, demonstration and evaluation of ITS systems for mobility during major events, achieved through three demo: South Africa (FIFA World Cup 2010), India (Commonwealth Games 2010, with the direct collaboration of RSM) and London (2012 Olympics).
 
The project is funded under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research of the General Directorate of Research of the European Commission.

TEN-T FIUMICINO
 
Roma Servizi per la Mobilità is a partner of the TEN-T project which has the fundamental task of assessing the transport issues of the infrastructure supply that will affect the viability and services to support the Fiumicino Airport in view of its gradual expansion.
