In case of death of the permit holder, the beneficiaries must return the permit within 30 days from the death.
The permit can be returned submitting the following documentation:

a signed permit returning statement (due to permit holder's death), attesting the date of death (attach copy of the death certificate)

the original permit

copy of the ID card of the person returning the permit
These documents can be sent by post (to Roma Servizi per la Mobilità S.r.l. – Piazzale degli Archivi 40 – 00144 Roma) or presented at the helpdesk (same address, mon/fri, from 8am to 4pm).
