A major structural redevelopment of the draining pavements along the urban stretch of the A24, between the Tangenziale il Gra. Three weeks of construction work is scheduled, with many phases of work, between 27 July and 14 August. In the first phase, from Monday 27 July to 3 August, work will be carried out on the east carriageway, with closure of the slow and fast lanes in the section between Fiorentini and Togliatti, and with closure of the relative junctions. To enter the motorway, the Portonaccio junction and the ramps of the ring road will be used instead. The regular overtaking lane will remain open to reach both the merging lane and the junctions of Tor Cervara and Gra which, again, to continue on the A24. In this first phase, there will be no intervention on the opposite carriageway, the one towards the ring road, where all the junctions will be passable in and out.
In the second phase, from 3 to 6 August, the closure of the stretch from the ring road to the junction of Via Filippo Fiorentini on the east carriageway continues (junction that will remain usable anyway). However, between the "Fiorentini" junction and the merging lane, the overtaking lane will be closed. Also closed is the section between the entrance of the merging lane up to Gra: vehicles will be diverted to the merging lane.
Between 3 and 6 August, on the west carriageway (from Roma Est to the Tangenziale), traffic will be diverted to the merging lane. All junctions can be used.
Finally, on the east carriageway, in the third and final phase, from 6 to 14 August, complete closure will remain on the section from the Tangenziale to the Via Fiorentini junction (which will continue to remain usable) and will still be closed, between "Fiorentini" and the merging lane, the overtaking lane, as well as the closures between the entrance to the merging lane up to Gra, with the vehicles diverted to merging lane.
However, on the opposite carriageway, from east Rome towards the Tangenziale, only the merging lane will be passable, with obligatory exit at the junction of Viale Palmiro Togliatti. More info and updates on stradadeiparchi.it
