WHAT IT ALLOWS YOU TO DO
- access and circulate only in the LTZs of reference and stop for free only where the domicile is established, where the work activity is located or the craft workshop .
- stop for free, 24 hours a day, for domiciled people and artisans. For workers at night, parking is allowed only for the time slot in which the work is carried out, indicated on the permit. The only exception is ZTL A1 - Tridente, an area where only those specifically authorized may circulate and park.
WHO CAN REQUEST IT
• domiciled, with residence outside the Province of Rome, in one of the ZTL of Rome or in the following perimeter streets of the ZTL Testaccio (Lungotevere Testaccio, in the stretch from Via A. Manuzio to Piazza dell'Emporio; Via L. Galvani; Via A. Manuzio; Via B. Franklin; Piazza dell'Emporio). Franklin; piazza dell'Emporio);
• working at night in one of the ZTL of Rome;
• craftsmen with workshop in one of the ZTL of Rome.
To reduce pollution:
- Vehicles with exclusively electric traction can circulate freely and free of charge within the LTZ
after registration.
The issuance of permits for trucks, with the exclusion of those issued in favor of residents, is subject to documentary proof that the person requesting the permit, regularly pays taxes by providing the single document showing regular contributions - the DURC.
HOW MANY PERMITS CAN BE ISSUED
- domiciled people: 1 permit;
- night shift workers: 1 permit;
- craftsmen: 2 permits.
Citizens living and working in a LTZ area – although different ones (e.g. Trastevere and Historic Centre) – can apply for an annual permit allowing to enter both areas. In this case, the documentation for both categories (residence/domicile and job type) must be submitted.

People domiciled within a LTZ
Only domiciled people can register and apply online.
ATTENTION: DIESEL vehicles with DUAL-FUEL and MIXED-FUEL fuel systems are not considered HYBRID.
Artisans and night workers
Artisans and night workers can apply via PEC
(permessistica@PEC.romamobilita.it), via fax (0646956660), via mail, submitting the application complete with the application form, a copy of the documents cited therein and their own identification document to Roma Servizi per la Mobilità - via Silvio D'Amico n 40 - 00145 Rome. The permit, sent by email in PDF format, must be printed and displayed on the windscreen so that it is visible from outside the car for control by the staff in charge - traffic wardens and traffic police.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
For annual Metrebus card holders, a discount of € 200,00 on LTZ permits is guaranteed if you need a LTZ permit which:
1. costs more than 200 euro
2. is not in the name of an Organization/Company
3. is valid for one year.

CRAFTSMEN AND NIGHT WORKERS
From March 1, 2021 artisans and night workers can send documentation via pec/fax/post:
via pagoPA bulletin sent by email when documentation analysis is positive.
The revenue stamp of € 16.00 will not be affixed to the application form, but will be paid virtually, i.e. paid together, in a single transaction, to the amount of the permit.
If, on the other hand, you want to go to our counter in via Silvio D'Amico n 38, you can also pay by cash or credit card, when successful analysis of the documentation is evident.
