The news network of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità was created to ensure that everybody (citizens, tourists and commuters) could get all the information they need. The network's main goal is to give the right information at the right time and to the right person. In doing so, it's always evolving and updating new technologies.
Since 2012, Roma Servizi per la Mobilità has been giving live updates on public and private mobility through the website “Muoversi a Roma” and the media tool “Find your route” and “Find your bus”, which shows the waiting time at the bus stop. In case of special events, strikes or other emergency situations, social media gives information on private and public mobility and updates on how to get around the city.

“Trasporti&Mobilità” is a two-page supplement - written by journalists of Roma Servizi per la Mobilità - within the free newspapers “Leggo” and “Metro”. About 260,000 copies are distributed daily (Monday to Friday) in every Metro (A, B, B1) station.

Monitors on Metro trains
The Telesia system broadcasts news in 25 Metro station lines A and B, using 110 monitors. The News network oversees 40% of the broadcasting, with news and information on city mobility.
There are 45 more on Metro A trains, broadcasting news on public transport 140 times a day.

RomaRadio - the tube station
Roma Radio is the digital radio station managed by Roma Servizi per la Mobilità. It broadcasts - 16 hours a day, 365 days a year - inside the Metro stations (halls, corridors and platforms); the schedule brings together real-time info on public transport and private mobility with music, entertainment and useful information for a sustainable city.

In cooperation with the Mobility Control Centre, the panels - installed along the main streets of Rome - broadcast information on private mobility.
There are 62 variable message signs:
- 49 along the Tangenziale Est- Olimpica- Muro Torto- Routes to access the city- tunnel P.A.S.A.
- 2 along Viale Libia
- 5 along the route Pineta Sacchetti-Trionfale-Foro Italico (Giovanni XXIII tunnel)
- 6 along the route Magliana-Isacco Newton-Portuense
300 electronic displays, located at main bus stops around the city, give priority to information on public transport.
