Who can request it
Individuals, companies, associations, public entities and/or public participation entities, residents/domiciled individuals, businesses and owners of private companies. In any case the applicant must have a legal and/or operational registered office, or residence/domicile located within a roman LTZ and a parking garage for the vehicle in the same LTZ, available for the same period of the sticker. The only exception involves the school transit permit to accompany one's child to a school located in the Historical Centre or Trastevere LTZ; for this latter case it is not necessary to have a parking space
How many permits can be issued
1 for each parking space and vehicle available;
for School Transit, 1 for each student;
citizen residing and working within the LTZ - even when the working and residing LTZ zones are different (e.g. Historic Center and Trastevere) - can request a single permit with duration of one year providing access to both LTZ zones. For the release of the permit it is necessary to produce all the documents for the two permit categories (residence/domicile and type of work activity performed)
How long is it valid
1 year;
for School Transit, 10 or 11 months, until the end of the school year (June 30 or July 31);
What it allows you to do
access and circulate in the LTZ of reference. It is not permitted to park on the street, for the same must be done within one's own parking space.
for School Transit, it is allowed to stop in the vicinity of the Institute to allow the student to get in/out;
How to request a permit
by mail, by sending your completed application form, a copy of the documents mentioned in it, and a copy of your identification document, to Roma Servizi per la Mobilità - via Silvio D'Amico n 38 - 00145 Rome;
by fax, by sending your completed request form, a copy of the documents referred to therein and a copy of your identity document to the number +39 06.46956660;
at the public teller's window, by presenting your completed application form, a copy of the documents referred to therein and a copy of your identity document and of any delegation plus a copy of the ID of the mandated person, if necessary.

The sending of the request and of the documentation for the new permit is not sufficient to avoid administrative penalties. Only those in possession of the sticker are authorized to enter the LTZ area.
The perimeter roads of the Testaccio LTZ, with the exception of Via Galvani - the stretch of via Marmorata/Via Zabaglia - are NOT part of the LTZ and therefore those who have a parking space located in these streets cannot obtain the permit.

From January 1st, 2015 Euro3 trucks (diesel and gas) cannot circulate in the LTZ Merchandise zone.
It is also possible to purchase a book of 50, 100 or 200 daily permits to access the LTZs of Rome in vehicles registered as trucks.
Contribution Regularity
Issuing permits for trucks, except for those granted to residents, is subject to proof of regular contributions to social security, via the single insurance payment contribution certificate - "DURC").
