Media

The idea behind the establishment of the "Communication Platform" within Roma Servizi per la Mobilità is to ensure, through a wide range of tools, widespread information tailored to the needs of citizens, commuters and tourists. Online, in the metro, on the street or on board trains and buses we relaunch and disseminate news regarding public transport service, private mobility and events in the city.

The goal is to give the right information at the right time and to the right user, prioritizing public transport issues on metro and bus screens, electronic bollards and sector apps, and private mobility on variable message signs.

RADIO ROMA MOBILITY

Roma Servizi per la Mobilità's digital radio station broadcasts daily from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (on Fridays and Saturdays until 1:30 a.m.). In the A and B/B1 metro stations (atriums, corridors and platforms) it informs in real time about public transport and private mobility with two Radio Newspapers and two InfoFlashes every hour - from 6.30 am to 7.30 pm - by Roma Mobility's newsroom. Live links to:

  • Gr1 Rai: once a day
  • Radio Roma Capitale: once a day from Monday to Friday
  • the main local radio and television stations during extraordinary events and daily in the morning, afternoon and evening, from Monday to Saturday

METRO VIDEO CIRCUIT

Class Editori's Telesia circuit broadcasts in 25 Metro stations A, B/B1 through 110 monitors. Within the Telesia Roma Servizi per la Mobilità schedule alternates four TGs per hour, institutional commercials and service infographics pertaining to city mobility, also programmed on the 1,650 monitors installed on CAF trains present in metro A, B/B1 and Roma-Lido as well as on Atac and RomaTPL buses. Telesia monitors also scroll, in a continuous cycle, 7 days a week, tickers and information slides, with information on both public and private mobility.

ROADSIDE PANELS (VARIABLE MESSAGE)

The information, mainly about the public mobility, is sent on the screens of 300 bus stops. On the 90 screens installed along Rome's main roadways it is possible to find information mainly on private mobility along, for example, the Tangenziale Est - Olimpica, the "Muro Torto," the city's access routes, the P.A.S.A. viale Libia tunnel, the Pineta Sacchetti - Trionfale - Foro Italico axis (Giovanni XXIII tunnel), the Magliana - Isacco Newton - Portuense road axis.
